Paul Iribe was an amazing french Fashion illustrator. His illustrations for Paul Poiret made him famous, as well as the illustrations for Jeanne Lanvin, and Coco Chanel (whom he had an affair with!)
I love the elegance of his work and the bold, bright colors. His illustrations were simple, clean and delicate. Paul Iribe's illustration of Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter is inspiration for the Lanvin logo still used today.

Wow, isn't this necklace something special? I am in loooveee with it! This is my must have piece for summer. Just wear with a t-shirt and jeans and your good to go :) Although, I will probably try to make it myself with all the broken necklaces i have lying around.

I just ordered these gorgeous ruffled, checkered print sandals online. They also come in baby blue and yellow, which i also want to get eventually. Aren't they cute? I love the whimsy ruffles! Can't wait till they arrive at my door :D I will snap some pics when i get them on my footsies!

My cousin bought these super cute, RED suede Moschino shoes for $5! This was like months ago, unfortunately they weren't my size, but i knew she would be delighted to be their rightful owner. I had to post it here and show them off :) I love the cute bow and the gold lion detail! It reminds me of Marie antoinette... Yes I'm a Marie Antoinette freak! I did a mini collage, ENJOY!

One of my favorite collections on the runway this Spring had to be Luella's. I love the bright colors, they're not harsh on the eyes, the tweed blazers put together with ruffle dresses. So whimsical! The entire collection is very ladylike and girly, I love that. There was a lot of florals too, which made the look a little more feminine. (Check out the shoes!) Oh, and those cute fascinators were to die for! I'm dying to make one in orange!

So, I finally decided to snap a pic of my ugly/interesting dress. I know, i know, it looks like I'm off to meet Wonder Woman or some superheroe sidekick. I still love it :)
I got this piece of work on Etsy about a month ago for $35 tag reads Pantagis, I also received the white 1930's ruffle gown in the mail today, "the white dress".

It looks so awesome in person! I will post pictures soon... If anyone knows of somewhere I can restore this really old piece, please let me know! Its very fragile and has a few rips and tears...

Also, I will post some great thrifty finds soon! so stay posted!

I tend to judge myself and I'm very self conscious. At times, i want people around to like me, to see me as a certain individual. at times i just don't care. I get a lot of compliments, (or not) of my actions, my talent, my style, my personality etc. and i reflect on the things i should change about myself as a person. I have had people trust me with incredible tasks and opportunities for escalating my career, i get so excited and sometimes wonder if i am talented or good enough. I am grateful for the people i have around me that believe in me, for seeing things in me that i can't, and helping me acknowledge of what im capable of. But when it all comes down to it, what counts is that at the end of all the criticism and struggles one goes through to improve oneself to become a notable individual, it is most important that you are the one that loves, accepts and appreciates you for you, above everything and anyone; quirks and all.

Unfortunately for me, i never got to buy a Polaroid, and as of 2008, it is being discontinued. Ugh! Sucks big time. The company filed for bankruptcy, but will relaunch they're iconic Polaroid camera for the new year. Its called POGO and just like the Polaroid prints your pictures automatically. Well, this means goodbye to Polaroid, You will be missed... Hello POGO!
